The long white dress - what a classic! When I think about this particular fashion item, the first thing comes to mind has to be a wedding dress. But there is more to a long white dress than nuptials and wedding rings. There are a wide variety of styles suitable for any occasion and for any body types. From formal wear to casual street wear, there are tons of selections out there. With that said here are some of the most fabulous white dress styles that you will go gaga for.
The Formal Gown
As stated before, there is more to the long white dress than a wedding gown. Which is why, just because a gown happens to be white, doesn't mean that it is meant to be worn on your wedding day. So if you are on the hunt for a nice non-wedding white gown, why not try something that has a simple yet classic shape, such as a strapless, empire waist gown. Style Tip: When opting for a simple white gown, accessories are your friend. But depending on the occasion choose your accessories. The maxi dress, which is a simple sleeveless, v-neck long dress is yet another classic look that is just as versatile and elegant at the time. It doesn't matter if you are going out for a day of shopping or hanging out at the beach, the maxi dress is the epitome what a summer dress should be. Light yet sexy, this amazingly beautiful silhouette is a great look for any woman that has a a pear shaped body or just anyone that has amazing shoulders to show off. There's really nothing much to say about this dress other than it is simplistically stunning.

I am a firm believer of the shirt dress. Personally I have a few of them on my closet, and let me tell you, it is an amazing dress to have when you need put something on quick. Also what I love about the shirt dress is that it is so effortless and easygoing yet chic at the same time. It is truly the ultimate casual dress.
Style Tip: With a shirt dress, you can definitely play around with it. You can layer it with a cute leather jacket or a structured vest and it will still look fabulous. Also adding interesting footwear like high boots and ultra high heels can definitely add a little sass to the look.
