There are a lot of things you should know before starting a blog. You have to grab your audiences attention. Know your topic Well before you start to write make sure that you know what you are going to write about first. One thing you should do is write about what interests you, but at the same time make sure everyone will read it as well. there are a lot of things that you can talk about, but don't just drag on and on about different things keep the topic simple and to the point. Two stay on that same topic do not stray away from it. If you make sure that you stay on topic then you will be able to write a great blog. There are many other things that will help you with your blog writing as well. Know your audience. Okay this is what gets everyone when writing blogs. you have to make sure that you are getting the right audiences attention. if you are writing for a younger audience like teens the try and blog about something that has to do with teen life or something along those line. Now if you are dealing with older audiences like elderly or just adults try and do something that is related to their interest. this will help out a lot when it comes to your blogging. If you know your audience then you can write about anything. There are a lot of things that you need to make sure you do before you choose your topic and audience. Update your blog When you start blogging you should always update it at least one every other week. there are many people that update their blogs a few times a week, but if you have other things to do then you can spare some time when you need to update. Updating means just log in and add somethings or just take away a few things, but mostly adding is the key. You don't want you blog really long, but you can add certain things that will help you along, but at the same time take away some stuff that you do not need anymore. Updating makes people want to read your blog more and more everyday. If it is something old no one will find it interesting or they will think that it is not in service. especially if you are doing job postings. Make sure it's your writing There are many people that try and copy others writing. When you write a blog write it from your own experience or mind, do not copy no one else's work that is bad and unprofessional as well. if you need to add something that was from some one else please quote it and put there name there so that other people can read what the other person wrote as well just to see where you get your ideas.
