Acorn Media UK have announced that the new episode of Midsomer Murders, Talking to the Dead is available on DVD exclusively early from their website. The episode is due to be aired on Wednesday 5th May on ITV. John Nettles has also signed a script especially for us and we are giving it away in our Midsomer Free Prize Draw. In the new episode Sam Nealms, the postman, arrives at a cottage on Linton Pargeter’s estate. There is no sign of the inhabitants Stan and Nesta Goodfellow. Molly and Colin Thomas’ neighbouring cottage is the same. The two couples have vanished without trace from the village of Monks Barton, amid rumours of witchcraft and haunted woods. Flamboyant psychic Cyrus LeVanu clashes with pompous cleric Wallace Stone as a body is found, while other villagers seem to be caught up in a stolen antiques racket. Can Barnaby and Jones discover the secret of Barton Woods and find the killer? John Nettles as DCI Tom Barnaby is joined by Jason Hughes as DS Ben Jones and the usual array of guest stars includes Kirsty Dillon, Jeroen Krabbe, and Paul Jesson. The Midsomer Murders DVD of Talking to the Dead is now available to order on Acorn Media UK, and is ready to be dispatched immediately and will be the only place you can order the DVD until a general release later in the year.
