The New Jersey Nets proceed to make a move that will make them better versus NBA probabilities at the sports book next season. Johnson should have a say in which competitors the team goes after since the Nets are expected to be major competitors in free agency. He will also be supposed to get point guard Devin Harris back on track. The 2 have worked together before, since Harris played for Johnson with the Mavericks, although they don't always agree. Harris did state that Johnson assisted him to turn into a better player. Mikhail Prokhorov, the new owner of the Nets, is set to rebuild a franchise that went an NBA-worst 12-70 the past season. He is pretty thrilled about the selection of Johnson and called it the first step in turning the Nets around. Johnson has the greatest winning proportion of any coach in NBA history. He was NBA Coach of the Year when he directed Dallas to the NBA Finals. New Jersey has a great young center in Brook Lopez and they still have Harris. New Jersey also picks 3rd in the forthcoming NBA Draft and they have a lot of money to spend on free agents. The days of the Nets being laughable in the league are ended as Johnson is an exceptional coach who will have his team playing defense and efficient offense.
