The mobile phone community has been singing the praises of the Android OS since it debuted in 2007. Since its debut the Android system has gone through many updates and upgrades. This could change as the Android market's paid app section grows but, for now, Android users are more thrifty than iPhone users. This might not seem like something to brag about but some people are very proud of this! If you are not thrilled with the iPhone handset that is pretty much too bad. If you aren't a fan of the Blackberry headset there are a few other basic options available to you. If you decide that you don't like one of the handsets that uses the Android OS you have a lot of other options to choose from. If you want to have a lot of different choices you'll want to choose a Google phone. This is because all of the major cell phone manufacturers are starting to use the Android OS in their phones so whatever your handset preference is, there is going to be a Google phone for it. One of the major things that Android phones have over the (incredibly) popular iPhones is that the Android phones can operate more than one application at a time. The iPhone can operate any of the base features simultaneously: phone, iPod, internet, or one of the apps that you have downloaded. That is pretty much the extent of its multi-tasking. You could, however, run your Twitter app along with your note taking apps and not have any issues. There are just as many, if not more, rumors as facts about the Google phone. The simple fact is that phones that use the Android OS (like the Google phones) are being sold all over the mobile market. The Android OS is being used by cell phone developers like Motorola, Samsung and HTC. The good news is that smart phones are cheaper and more readily available than ever.
