As a child you may have had the experience of being taken on a few fishing adventures. However, now that you are an adult and ready to head off onto another fishing adventure, you may want to fine tune your fishing abilities and take them to another level. Generally, bigger bait will catch you bigger fish and the small lures will usually be ignored by the larger fish. How deep the water you are fishing in is also a factor to take into consideration when choosing lures. Once the water becomes deeper it will also become darker. While many if not most fish have impeccable eyesight, it is still best to use bait that is rather luminous or bright in order to be sure to catch the attention of the fish. Mastering your lure selection can take a bit of patience and skill. However, once you get the hang of it, you may find that you are done with fishing rivers and lakes and the deep sea is the only way for you to go!
