It is also as labor intensive as beginning with new raw materials. Remanufactured products greatly reduce the use of resources and energy required for newly manufactured parts, whether or not they may be created from recycled materials. It also requires less labor to result in remanufactured products that may be 40 to 60 percent less expensive.
