Apple pie, the flag, baseball and our automobiles. I can't think of anything more exciting than the thought of being behind the wheel of their own car as they turn of age to drive. Whether it is a Nissan in Chicago or a Toyota in Wyoming they dream and scheme for the time when they can drive. I don't think we ever truly lose that. My husband just turned 50 and for his birthday he bought himself a large, souped up truck. He is the envy of every teenager we know and every teenager at the gas station where they flocked to just touch the truck. It is funny to watch. He is the pied piper and envy of the teens, and plenty of his peers. Boys and trucks, boys and cars, girls and trucks, girls and cars, each his own style, color and make, but everyone has a dream car. I love to drive with my children as they watch the cars go by, commenting on each especially the foreign sports cars, my thirteen year old son loves nothing more than to cruise by the Farrari and Lamborghini dealers; he gets stars in his eyes with a look of shear pleasure. Nissan dealers in Chicago understand the relationship American's have with their cars. They understand that each person has their own dream of color, make and model and try to fit those dreams into the reality of ownership. While everyone can't drive a corvette of Ferrari, everyone can drive something and still enjoy the joy of automobile ownership.
