I first got into streaming videos online during my uni years. In student accommodation that didn’t have a TV, all I could do was fire off search after search looking in all four corners of the web for decent quality free movies online via legal websites with which to while away the hours between revision. I’ll be honest; by and large it didn’t look good. I landed on so many sites which were just unacceptable – my screen was flooded with pop ups and the streaming just took ages to load. Thankfully my constant searching paid off when I came across a reputable and fully legal website which, simply put, offered all that I was looking for – good quality independent movies. You might be into comedies, romantic films or an epic and inspiring biopic, it doesn’t matter because on this website all you need is a broadband internet connection to watch a massive selection of movies absolutely free. Personally, I’m into my independent horror movies at the moment. For me there’s nothing better than spending an evening in checking out the reviews on this website before watching the action for myself. 90’s Japanese horror anyone? This website has it all. The best thing about the site in my opinion is the amount of movies available. Using the search bar, I usually check out a number of titles before deciding which ones to watch – and if you register you can review the movies too. This means I’ve been able to air my views on a number of uninspiring movies which has led to some interesting debates with both the like-minded browsers and those who disagree with my perspective. Now I know what you’re going to say; some of my friends are more into the big blockbusters too. But that’s the beauty of this website – it even publishes an online magazine which reviews all of the latest mainstream movies so every cinema lover is catered for. I’m not usually one to post gushing reviews online, but where this website is concerned I’ve decided to shed my customary cynicism and be honest – this way other people can break the daily cycle of fruitlessly searching for legal free movies online and actually start watching some!
