Why do we want to publish articles? We all have our reasons. Some will want to do it for the fun. Others want to test their skills. I write because I want visitors to come to see my website by clicking on the link in my source paragraph. We all have our reasons, but one common fact remains. We need to get the job done. Writing an article of four hundred words or so just might not occur smoothly. I for one do a lot of correction as I write. The first task I have is to find a subject. I do that by doing a keyword search for a possible subject. On my keyword generator I will be shown 800 keywords and keyword phrases. I will chose about a dozen of the most highly rated phrases relating to the potential subject. When I decide the subject I bring up my template and begin to set up the story. I use a template to save time as well as to move me along. I find that I need not hesitate to get on with the article once the headings of the template are filled in with the information. The template is simple. It has the source at the top. That is the introduction to who we are, as well as the link to our website. The publisher will place this paragraph on the bottom of the article on their site. Then the title of the article. Next we have the keywords area where I place at least six of the top related keywords and keyword phrases. Next comes the description. That is the area where I write a couple of sentences regarding the subject and placing the hook. The hook is when I suggest that by reading the main article the reader will learn how to make something better or learn some tips or how to do something. I do not want to tell them my secret until they read the article. Finally comes the text. By now my thoughts are all flowing in the direction of the subject. All of my thoughts by now are leading towards the opening first line and there is nothing remaining but to start writing. I like to compare this template system to a golfer making ready to hit a shot. If you ever watch a professional golfer you will notice them going through the same movements before every shot. Some will set up ready to hit and then give a slight knee push before hitting. Others will cock their head a little and still some golfers will wait until they have stood behind the ball and stand up to hit it and then stand behind the ball once more before they hit. This is called a pre-shot routine. Employ the template system as your pre-shot routine and you will find your articles flowing easily.
