DAMON DEGRAFF In 2001, Damon DeGraff founded dGi Management which represents America's premier DJs, artists and record producers including Rev Run, DJ Cassidy, The MisShapes, Paul Sevigny and Kat Deluna. dGi talent enjoys a global presence with DJs performing at exclusive events across the country and in Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East. dGi record producers, too, have established a similar status, collaborating with a breadth of international platinum-selling recording artists including Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Simpson and Nas. DeGraff’s foray into music began in 1999 with a job at the boutique music management/production company Cheeba Sound. Working with R&B superstar D’Angelo and DJ Mark Ronson, DeGraff made a name for himself in the New York music scene almost overnight. He played an integral role in D’Angelo’s 2000 platinum-selling Voodoo and transformed Ronson from a local DJ to a sought-after international attraction. With Ronson as a platform, DeGraff essentially created the marketplace that supports today’s celebrity DJ culture.
