The popularity of the Nintendo DS gaming console is seen worldwide. R4DS simply means Revolution for DS and this is a pioneering technology for the DS series. This series has a long and colorful history. The slot 1 and the slot 2 devices are two devices which can be adaptable to the DS. The games can be played only with the introduction of the high technology of the DS into the market. Even while it is an introductory technology, the R4DS has gained much ground in the market and has become a very popular choice. Here are some pointers in making game playing better with the use of your R4DS. 1) Maintain a directory of files in your Micro SD card. Classify your applications on a per folder basis, for instance, keep a file on games where you would put all your different gaming applications. This way, you would have an easier time retrieving such files when you use them. 2) Keep a separate folder also for your music files. It is prudent to keep sub-folders in your file when you have different music albums. Instead of simply naming them with numerals, such as Track 1 or Track 2, it is better to designate it with the music album title itself, so that you have an easy time in going over your music archive. 3) It would also be wise to keep back up saved games in your personal computer hard drive, and to do it regularly and constantly. This is not to say that your files may be corrupted on the Micro SD card in the R4DS, but it is more for your convenience in case you would want to go back to an earlier saved game in the process. It may be unnoticeable now, but there are indeed instances when you would want to go back to an earlier saved game for whatever reason, and this is precisely the purpose of giving this pointer. The saving of these files would depend on the frequency of the games being played. 4) You do not need to pull out the whole R4DS from the Nintendo DS console each time you decide to add files into the Micro SD card. The Micro SD card can easily pop out of the R4DS card slot at the push of a finger. You can then install this into the card reader or writer to alter or add to your files regardless of whether or not these are videos, movies, games, or music. 5) Make sure that when you are finished with your sessions, the Micro SD card is always in place in the R4DS. Remember that these are small components which can easily be dropped and lost in transit. A word of warning however: the R4i or R4DS is prone to piracy owing to its ease of saving and altering files. Responsible usage is key to making your R4DS work for you.
