The NFL (National Football League) is a famous league which gathered many professional football teams that capturing the hearts of all the enthusiastic football fans worldwide. Every NFL team is the competitive one that can give a wonderful game with wearing authentic nfl jerseys to the spectators. Then, let’s take a look at one of the famous NFL teams – the Atlanta Falcons. The Atlanta Falcons are a professional American football team based in Atlanta, Georgia. And they are a professional football team in the National Football League. Originally, they are a member of the South Division of the National Football Conference (NFC). Atlanta joined the NFL in 1965 as an expansion team after the NFL gave then a franchise owner Rankin Smith to prevent it from joining the rival American Football League (AFL). The AFL has instead granted a franchise in Miami, Florida (Miami Dolphins). In its 43 years of existence, the Falcons have compiled a record of 275-400-6 with division championships in 1980, 1998 and 2004. The franchise of the Atlanta Falcons began June 30, 1965, when Pete Rozelle NFL commissioner granted ownership to Rankin Smith Sr. The expansion team has been awarded the first pick in the NFL draft in 1966 and selection final in each of the first five laps. The Falcons made All-American linebacker Tommy Nobis, the University of Texas with the first pick in the draft, becoming the first Falcon. The league also welcomed the expansion of the 1966 NFL draft with many football players playing football with wearing Odell Thurman Team jersey six weeks later, where the Hawks selected players unprotected existing franchises. Falcons had their first season in 1966 and their first preseason game at August1 1966, losing to the Philadelphia Eagles. They lost their first nine regular season games and earned their first road win against the New York Giants. The team finished 1960 with only 12 victories. Falcons had their first Monday Night Football game in Atlanta during the 1970 season. The 1971 season was their first with a winning record. The team began in the National Football League to play in the Eastern Conference. The franchise was founded in 1966. They played only in the Eastern Conference in the National Football League for one year before they were transferred to the Western Conference. And they often wear wholesale football jerseys in their training. They played in the Western Conference Coastal Division for 3 years before the NFC and AFC was created. The team has frankly not been a great success. They have been around for 43 years and have compiled a record of bad during those 40 seasons. In their existence they have only managed to win 275 games while losing 400. There are also 6 ties to go along with those wins and losses. Along with the development of NFL, the Atlanta Falcons has also evolved a lot. In their long history, they have got many fame and success. And with the effort of all the players, the team will have a better future.
