Even with the vast numbers of social sites, we all have “friends” on them that honestly we don't really know them now do we! But you know by having your own private site, expressions and words in a private setting take on a whole different meaning to us. Read more... With any long distant relationship, there are inherent difficulties to begin with. Developing a level of trust becasu8e you are not physically together, yet, you're still trying to feel each other out and find ways to feel closer. What all do we have in common with each other, do we have the same morals, how important are the little gestures to us (we all need these), can they be open and honest with you...can you be open and honest with them? These are tough questions to get an answer to. Yet in any relationship you give each other the hope of tomorrow and the hope of a future. To build that trust and faith in each other the internet allows you to express yourself everyday with a private site that only the two of you can see. I suppose this can be a two edge sword also. I thing with distance, our times, it will show the other side of our personality. It give the individual an avenue to show each other that “I'm thinking of you” , or not. But we'd want to know how we fit into each others life and how they make us feel apart of theirs. You gotta love it when somebody says, “ I didn't have time” ! This is my favorite pet peeve what a line. Its nothing more than an excuse to me. So if people cant be honest with themselves how are they going to be honest with someone they think they are in love with. We all make our own priorities in life. Some responsibilities we have to do yet its so easy to take 5 minutes to post something , anything or to text, if nothing else to say “hello” or “I'm thinking of you” and yes “I love you” . These little word or the time you took to do it says more than anything else one could do. If that doesn't make you smile, or warm your heart, and even bring you closer together then I think you my friend will be a lonely person. But by the same token, if they don't do it, you have to evaluate whats important to you and what you need or want out of the relationship. Can you live without those? Does it make you think you have made them more important in your life then they have made you?Can you talk to them about it? These I suppose we all search for answers in some form or another. Is it enough to make or break a relationship who really knows but you. Love is many little things that add up to make the whole picture and feelings you feel. Why not take the time to find out with your own “Love U Site”. It's always better to know each other than not. Good luck and much love to all. Part III to follow!
