There are numerous species of Salmon, including; Atlantic salmon, Chum Salmon (King Salmon), Sockeye Salmon, Pink Salmon, and others. Salmon are one of the most prized fish to catch, they are also one of the tastiest fish, preferred by millions of people around the world. Canned salmon is in almost every larger grocery store in the country, and fresh salmon and salmon patties are a treat in numerous households on a regular basis at meal time, another favorite is smoked salmon, it's both expensive and delicious. Salmon come in all different shades of color depending upon the species, they are all shiny and metallic looking, some are almost all silver colored, while others are a shiny bluish-green, and some almost all shiny blue, and so on.
