Some people don't drink coffee because they believe it will upset their stomach or cause indigestion because it is to acid. Part of the acidity, usually, is the tartness of a fine coffee. The acidity, aroma, and body is said are how the professional use in tasting and sensory evaluation of a coffee. Most of us associate the acidity of coffee(like its ph level) to producing indigestion or nervousness in certain people. Yet, if the acid level of coffee does bother you, there are different types of coffee beans from low level to high level of acidity and thus effecting the taste and body of the coffee. So if the higher levels do bother you looking to those brands that offer specialty coffees with low level of acidity. One can also look for what is often referred to as “Aged Coffee” or “Vintage Coffee”. These coffees are stored in warehouses fro several years (much like a good wine). Such aging reduces the acidity and will typically increase the body or flavor. So I suggest you shop for a low acidity coffee. They are out there. Coffee has become such an interlarded with our society. Used in an opening or closing line in a conversations so many times. “ Lets meet and have a cup of coffee”.Whether its meeting a business associate, a customer, to used to get to know a hopeful love of your life, coffee and the coffee houses are a big part of our mind set and of society. Coffee is a great stimulate, conscious mental association, whereas alcohol , sadly in most provokes instinctual responses. To put it in another light, alcohol makes us want to eat, fight, make love, dance, and diminishes our mental capacity and then sleep. But coffee encourages us to think, talk, read, or write, ya and for most of us work. Like this, wine is consumed to relax, and coffee to drive home. No matter what our reasons that compel us to have that cup of coffee , we will and the coffee houses sprouting up everywhere will tempt us to meet and have another. Some even serve great coffee. But these shop or cafes', the large chains or your local shop, have become a mecca for coffee drinkers and social gatherings. Many of these also offer access to the internet.
