Its winter season, its cold and we’re freezing our nads off as some would say. So what do we do to keep warm? And better yet how do we fight the insecurities already that within high schools of how to dress and how not to dress? But instead of thinking of what others may think and doing what others are doing make a trend of your own. It is good to look at the up and coming fashion but it’s also good to make it your own. The fashion trends of today are appealing and give us lead way as to what would look good. Like the infamous military look. Espcially now with the different coats and the button up looks along with the commander boots. This look can be soften or stand alone hard core, but the point is you can make a look around it as oppose to copying a look on the mannequin. Traditional and classy looks are also come into play. So mix is matching can be done and is considered safe boys and girls, don’t be afraid. Just a like a home can have some contemporary features as well as a traditional old world look so can some of your clothing. Artist like Madonna, Lady Ga Ga, Rihanna, and Nicki Minaj have done this and it doesn’t have to be so extravagant as these stars. You can also create a soft and sexy style like Gaberielle Union, Rachel Zoe and Eva Longoria. A mix of styles and blends can add to a lot to your style and most times colors can add to the flavor. Placing different colors together becomes difficult when you’re not exactly sure what’s hot or what’s not but colors that are in now mixed with your own style will work just fine. Presently we see a lot of pastel colors, soft flora’s outside of shirts which are all nice, but if you want to step outside the box your can pair of the military look with the boots and nice black jacket along with a soft creamy caramel shirt or something with a sequence. You can also down play a look such as a dress that you know is long awaiting your next time wear because it was only used for a special occasion, pair that off with brown wedges or with sneakers. Now, be careful because this look can get trashed some celebs do it also in a way to upgrade like a t-shirt and jeans with some nice heels. So watch out, you want to stand out but not look like completely missed the memo on dirty sneaks with classy dress. If you have a floral dress you can add a nice belt and pair it off with some all white Nikes which are great for pairing off with printed items. When wearing sneakers try to go for an all out solid color, this is a must have in your closet ladies anyways not just to down play an outfit. So we want to stand out but look great doing it lots of celebs have pulled this off and you probably know of a few but also be aware that you don’t need a whole knew wardrobe to do so. Accessories, accessories, accessories are your best friends! Adding a silk scarf from womenclothingtoday.com to a look or fancying it up with a few jewelry pieces from Old Navy’s new and improved expression of updated jewelry can help. It doesn’t take a lot to change a look just be mindful to be comfortable and happy with what you walk out in to start you day or night. Enjoy!
