Looking for a food loaded with protein, iron, omega-3's and Vitamin B-12? Salmon is the premier choice. It's quite tasty and full of texture as well as being one of the super foods you should have as part of your diet anyway. Add to that it can help slow down the look of aging, and it's easy to see why it gets such rave reviews.
Carrots have a natural sweetness and are a very versatile vegetable. A great source of Vitamin A, which is good for your complexion and for your eyesight, carrots also contain anti-oxidants and fibre. You don't have to eat raw carrot sticks to add them to your diet. They are a natural sweetener for things such as breads, cakes, muffins and also make a great salad addition or side dish.
If you're feeling thirsty and want a little something with kick to wet your whistle, try some pink or red wine. Taken in moderation (one or two glasses per day) it's not only great for stalling the aging process, but the anti-oxidants are great for your heart and is reported to reduce the likelihood of cancer.
