The number of people using airport parking at Leeds Bradford may reach a peak before the end of the year. It found that nearly one in four Britons recently polled intended to take a break between October and December. Halifax also revealed that these people will spend a collective total of around £9 billion getting away and a further £500 million while they are abroad. Responding to the figures, director of Halifax credit cards Ken Stannard said: "Low season holidays hold a great deal of appeal for those that are looking to get away but still make the most of their money. "However, more budget conscious holidaymakers need to also ensure that they are getting the best deal on their travel money as well."
