The owners of dogs are pretty attached to their pets. They understand them as their companion and never treat them like animals. A dog harness is a device that loops around neck and torso of a dog. Especially for small dogs, these are very important to dilute the pressure and strain on their necks. Similarly, if you are traveling and want to take your dog along with you, do not just put it on the back seat of the car or give it to the airport authority. To ensure the safety and security of your dog, use of dog crate is recommended. Made of solid plastic, aluminum and wires, they have proved very secure for pets’ transportation. However, as they resemble cage, crate training is mandatory to let them get used to it. The use of dog crates is though, controversial. One stream of veterinarians advocates it whereas others refer to it as Stockholm syndrome where the victim develops a sudden likeliness towards its captivity and captors. However, like any other accessories, you have to pick them carefully and even with more caution. You need to check the comfort level of dog. Do not be harsh with your dog and give it time to get adjust to it. A dog harness should not be either too tight or slack on the body. Tight harness can cause rashes and sore on the chest and loose harness can come out any moment. In market, different harnesses are available for different types of dogs, for instance racing dog harness, X back harness and Y style harness to name a few. If you find that your dog is finding it difficult to adjust with its crate, you can consider dog tents as well. Like soft dog crate, they are very light weight and can be taken anywhere along with you. They can be folded but are not suitable for vehicle transportation.
