The 1967 Major League Baseball season was the 67th held between the American and National Leagues. And this is a successful and meaningful season in the history of baseball. In this season, it has made many famous baseball teams and players that contribute much to the success of 1967 baseball season. Now, let’s take a look at the 1967 Major League Baseball season. The season featured the relocation of one team, the Kansas City Athletics. The team would play their last season in Kansas City. They would relocate to Oakland following the season. Players usually wear authentic baseball jerseys in the training. The St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Boston Red Sox four games to three in the 64th World Series, which was the first World Series appearance for the Red Sox in 21 years. Following the season, the Kansas City Athletics relocated to Oakland. The American League has been dominated by one player, Carl Yastrzemski. Yastrzemski won this season. He led the AL in batting average and RBIs. He also tied Harmon Killebrew for most homers in the American League. He finished with a .326 batting average, 44 homers and 121 RBIs. Jim Lonborg, Earl Wilson and Joe Horler dominated the field. And Wilson Lonborg won 22 games in a piece of the season to lead the American League. Horler posted an ERA of 2.06, which leads the American League. Lonborg also won the American League lead in strikeouts with 246. The season was dominated by many names as the previous year in the NHL. Roberto Clemente was probably the best hitter in baseball at that time. He managed to hit the 0357 season, leading all major league baseball in batting average. The champion of the National League home run was none other than Hank Aaron. He often wears Dan Fouts jerseys in the training. Aaron was at his best at that time, little by little the home run record was released later. He managed to hit 39 balls over the park during the season. Orlando Cepeda was the best man in the National League RBI. St. Louis Cardinals led the NL They won in the 101-game season only to lose 60 were 10.5 games ahead of second-best team in the NL, the San Francisco Giants.
