Full lips can be sensual and for many, a trademark of beauty. Unfortunately, not everyone was born with a rich and luscious set of lips. Well, if genetics didn't give you plump lips, you'll just have to get them yourself. There's certainly no shortage of methods to achieve fuller lips. Collagen and other substances can be injected into your lips to fill them out for a few weeks to a few months. You can of-course opt for surgery to permanently increase the size and shape of your lips. However, less invasive solutions come in the form of lip plumping glosses and lipsticks you can put on at home. Some of these products utilize the properties of vitamins which activate blood flow in your lips. Not only does this increase the circulation to make your lips fuller, it also can create more natural colour in your smile. Other plumping products use reactionary irritants which cause your mouth to swell. These are commonly natural ingredients, such as cayenne pepper, that when applied to your lips, will stimulate a reaction and make them puff up on their own. You can also increase the colour and volume of your lips by rubbing them vigorously with a clean, dry toothbrush. This will dramatically improve your natural colour and increase the blood flow, giving you a full and luscious mouth. If you're in a hurry and need a quick home remedy for thin lips, try adding a sprinkle of cinnamon and a sprinkle of cayenne powder to some petroleum jelly for your own lip stimulating formula. Apply a little lip balm first to protect your lips and put your lip plumping serum on top of it. If your lips don't tingle right away, go a little heavier on the cayenne and cinnamon. You should use a cotton swab instead of your fingers to apply this, since this irritant will bother your skin as well. Also, be sure to wash your hands thoroughly after mixing and applying, so you don't inadvertently end up with the mixture in your eyes, or other areas. There's no need to be blue about having thin lips. Mother nature may not have blessed you with a full and brimming set of lips, but she did give us all the tools to create plump lips ourselves.
