Its hard not to hear or read an assessment of the events last Saturday in Arizona . I have read many articles on the event and the more I read the madder I got. The shooting in Arizona is not only shocking and extremely sad, but is being used for many purposes. Granted a lot of Americans are not happy with the way our current government is handling things, but taking to violence is never the solution nor is it acceptable behavior of or against our fellow citizens even when we don't agree with their respective points of view. Why are the politicians finger pointing anyway? Do they want (or driven by a need) to put blame on somebody else. Its almost like Dick Durbin (Senate's No 2 Democrat) is trying to make it a political issue. To use it to further his own career maybe, or further a cause of some kind. It is what it is, (tragic as it is), a shooting of an individual who happen to be a congresswoman. The person who supposedly did the shooting obviously isn’t all there or very stable , and he did for reasons that only he knows and we may never really know. Hey leave it to the press though they will through out there all sorts of ideas as to the why! It makes you wonder if some in our government are trying to stir the pot so it's easier to control our lives. Like they should be the ones to police the morals of America. To justify another law that will take away another right. How much longer will it be before the government is mandating what we read, and what we watch on television. They have already stuck their noses in the internet and working to what we can see and not see or read about. Whats next on your agenda Mr. Durbin? We have laws in place to deal with the situation that happened in Arizona . Lets not elevate this into a national political agenda. Its is and was a tragic and our prayers and sympathy goes out to all of those involved and their families. Nobody is to blame except the person who pulled the trigger.
