Grease The Musical London is one show that has audiences dancing in their seats. The musical is set in the 1950's a time for do whop music, hanging out at the local burger joint, and watching a movie at the drive-in theatre. The sounds and scenes projected in this musical are phenomenal to hear and watch. The show is centred on two groups known as the T-Birds and the Pink Lady's. These were the two coolest groups to be a part of during high school. There is a sweet romance that blossoms between Danny, the leader of the T-Birds and Sandra Dee, the new girl in town. Sandy is quickly befriended by a member of the Pink Lady's and included in their activities. The only problem is the leader of the Pink Lady's bans Sandy from joining the group because she is too wholesome and pure. In the meantime Danny is helping his friend perfect his car and focusing on being the leader of the T-Birds but loves and misses Sandy very much. Sandy tries to fit into other groups at school only to find she doesn't fit in and Danny tries his best to change also. When they finally do get together each one has a different idea of how the date should go. While Sandy is sitting nicely watching the movie, Danny has other ideas on his mind and tries to make a move on her. She leaves him alone at the drive-in theatre wondering if he will ever change and be the man she wants him to be. Sandy tries once again to be a part of the Pink Lady's with little success and realizes if she wants Danny in her life she is going to have to change. In the last scene of the musical Sandy makes a stunning transition from the nice girl next door to the daring adventurous girl she believes she should be. The T-Birds and Pink Lady's are stunned to see the amazing transformation made by Sandy especially Danny. They re-unite everyone is happy and celebrate with music and dancing. Grease The Musical London is premiering at the Piccadilly Theatre. The theatre is located near Charing Crossing.
