From all you may have heard about it, an alkaline antioxidant water filter system for making your tap water healthier for you to drink may sound like an incredible invention. The problem is that the alkaline pH levels that it takes to kill cancer cells is perfectly alright in a laboratory environment using test tubes to conduct the experiments. In the human body however you couldn’t achieve or sustain such high pH. So, what then is the benefit from using an alkaline antioxidant water filter system? The truth is that there is no benefit at all from using one of these products, because not only is it impossible for such a device to kill cancer cells in humans, it doesn’t prevent carcinogens from entering the body either. There are more than 2,000 different carcinogenic chemicals that are present in your water supply, and you ingest at least one of them every day. You simply can’t hope to maintain your health over many long decades without protecting yourself from these carcinogens, and the tens of thousands of other contaminants present in our water supply. The best answer for you is to purchase and install a tap water purifier containing activated granular carbon, a sub micron filter, and ion exchange. This sort of filter system will remove all that an alkaline antioxidant water leaves behind. An alkaline antioxidant water filter system is not the answer for anyone seeking to improve, or maintain their health.
