Actually there are some of the things which should be checked before hiring a condo, like: 1. First of all check the real estate agent from whom you are taking the services. Most of the tourists do not know much of the people in Bangkok so they just rely on their agents and sadly some of those agents are just fraud. Their whole motive is to take your money at the name of the condo but they just run away and you have to suffer a great loss. The best way to avoid this fraud is so check the past records of the agent and if possible then check his license or some documents which prove that he is actually an agent of an authorized real estate company. You little cautions can save you from bigger losses. 2. 3. Check the location of the condonium you are going to hire. Well you are on an enjoyment tour and how will you enjoy by living far from the main city. If you think that you can use the transport to come and enjoy the main city then I think you are forgetting a really important thing, which is the transport cost. The transport cost is really high in larger cities of Bangkok so if you will hire a condonium away from the main locations then get ready to spend dollars and dollars on the transport. 4. 5. Thirdly check the size of the condonium and the bed rooms available. If you are going to stay with your family then obviously the best condonium situated on the best location having one bedroom will not be suitable for you. So carefully check your needs of space in the condonium, after all you are paying the rent and it is your right that you get the condonium according to your desires and needs. 6. 7. Another thing that you need to do is to check all the documentations. As you are a tourist and it is not your own country so you are unaware of all the rules and regulations of hiring a property. So be very careful during the documentation, your single mistake can cause problems for you. 8. Make sure for the privacy, though you are not staying in the condo for a long time but obviously you will need some privacy during your stay. Some of the condos are so open that you do not get even a minute of privacy so do not forget to check this point too.
