Claude Monet born on November 14, 1840 was the founder of the French Impressionist painting. He was born in a business family dealing in the business of grocery. His father had a strong desire that his son should work with him in his family business but Monet was only interested in painting. Jacques-François Ochard taught Monet the initial drawing and painting lessons. Eugene Boudin taught this painter the use of oil paints and the application of outdoor painting techniques. This home also had a small garden. Monet used his garden to do full time painting. Last years of the life of Monet In the last decade of his life, his eyes suffered from Cataract. Due to this eye problem, his vision got blurred and he was not able to make good use of brushes and colors in his paintings so the paintings that he created in these years had the marked difference but then also he continued his painting work.
