Appropriate clothing in college is very significant given the role it plays in a student’s life. The college clothing can be divided in two parts- professors’ and students’. Though, the purpose they serve is entirely different. The professors need to be very careful with their dressing as it could be their way to establish rapport with their students. One cannot expect a professor to come for class and deliver lecture in college shorts! Whereas clothing of college student can be described from carefree to anything outrageous. The college life and clothing has still the known parameters of jock, nerd and preppy. Though, most of the college students want to look different and stylish within the existing trends. Appropriate college clothing can give you the desired appreciation and uniqueness in college. With the right sense of matching clothes and the occasions can give you a personal style and self identity. Whether you look like Curt Kobain of Nirvana or Brad Pitt of Ocean series, you certainly can, but you can score over the board if you know when to dress like whom. For instance, you cannot sport a John Lennon look or wear one of your funky College T- Shirts if you are going to economics class! Check your comfort quotient. While you choose college clothing for yourself, comfort should be your buzzword. You need to know that a simple $20 College Shorts can give you the killer look if you are totally comfortable in them whereas Gucci denim can make you look clumsy if you are uneasy in it. It is not necessary that you have to act according to the stereotypes or navigate within the given style brackets. This is the most wonderful thing about college! You can create your own style and emphasize on your personal identity. You can declare war against the existing fashion trends by creating your own style. Never forget your own personality. Do not copy others and respect your true self. Surprise your friends with customized college t-shirts and choose a day when you wear them. You can surely be the apple of everyone’s eye in the college. Lastly, do not cross the modesty of college premises. Your clothing style should be tasteful and pleasant.
