I created a simple 5 step process to laying a foundation for building strong business credit and it can be seen at this hyper-link; http://www.businesshyperlink.com/EBP21.jpg The Do's; -Follow proven and 100% legal methods to create business credit. -Use the services of business credit experts like Dunn & Bradstreet to help you build a good paydex score for your business. -Maintain a high level of honesty, integrity and transparency and these actions will benefit you long term. -Create a business plan that outlines all of the details of your business and use it as a tool to seek approval from banks, creditors and vendors. The Dont's; -Never lie to obtain credit and never fill out an application for credit falsely. -Do not rush the business credit building process, instead take the slow and steady approach. -Never provide "supportive information" like business plans or other documents that contain inaccurate or false information. -Try to avoid being a PG (personal guarantor) for your business credit for this will not benefit your business or provide your business with stand alone credit. -Avoid Credit Scams that promise a high paydex score in a short period of time.
