Back pain is a pretty common problem across the board and while most back pain issues are just a result of a strain injury some can be more serious. There are several reasons why women experience back pain and while many require only minimal care, some do require more.If your pain is a result of an injury either past or present then it is probably something that your doctor can prescribe something for such as muscle relaxers and pain medications where applicable and anti inflammatory medication and rest will usually do the trick to helping these issues heal. These back problems can be caused by a muscle spasm, a herniated or bulging disc, or even by something called spondylolisthesis which is essentially just a slippage of the spine. Older women have a different set of possible issues. It is so easy for women over age 60 to break bones. A broken or fractured hip or even spine will result in severe pain. Some people find these types of trouble pretty obvious because they occur during a fall. They are not always caused by falling though because of the brittleness of older bones. It is rather easy to break something when you get older. Pregnancy can also cause back pain in women and if you think that you might be pregnant then it is a good idea to apply heat to your back. Of course, if you are pregnant and the back pain is accompanied by bleeding you should consult your ob/gyn immediately. If you feel pain in your back it could also be from kidney trouble because that is where the kidneys are located. If you also notice blood in your urine and have pain that goes along with the urination that is a giveaway for kidney trouble and is not something that you want to ignore at all. It could be just another strain from lifting too much or something as simple, but if you don't find out you can't rule out other things. Lower back pain is something that for many people comes and goes depending on the amount of activity. If it does not go away though then it needs to be checked out. Pain of any kind can be a symptom of an illness that needs to be dealt with. It is always a smart idea to check with your doctor before waiting for too long. Your primary care physician will then send you onto a specialist if they have concerns. You need some type of Individual health insurance to deal with pain and other health issues. You can easily check that and Family health insurance out by checking online.
