Expected Game Spoilers In Golf

Sports,Career,Hobbies
In sports, the chief goal isn't only to get the highest scores, but also to win over the other competitors. It is just a matter of having a lead, dominating, and having the edge over them. Conversely, the game of golf is all about having less, more distance, and less made delivered-strokes in sinking the hole. A good drive, a good club, and a good approach will bring in the low score which will result in a good game. However, to be able to do that beautifully, you ought to do more than just "whack and go."

Hazards in golf are bunkers, which could either be sand traps or water hazards. Even though these water and sand holes can help beautify the course you are playing in, they can be silent killers of your whole game and ruin your score greatly. To attain the good scores, a golfer need to know how to adapt his or her shots so it will not be that tough to go through these. Apart from the two hazards, there are some other game spoilers like the trees and weedy areas of the course. Just when you thought that they are just there to provide some beauty to the course, you may be surprised they can cause you frustrations.

Sandtraps and Fairway Bunkers: A bunker is not only a depression in the course, but also in the Fairway, and sometimes contain sand. A player won't have any penalties, but the ball should be put back into the fairway or the green. To emerge from the bunker, the player must also choose a club depending on the lie of the ball, if it's good or bad. The lie is the position where your golf ball is after you delivered your shot. A good lie is easy to deal with not only because the ball will be on a flat surface, but also it does not need any club changes at all. Most of the time, a fairway bunker can give a good lie. To recover, you have to have a slightly open stance and fairly bury your feet to hold balance. Concentrate on striking at a distance 2-inches near the golf ball and take the shot. However, a bad lie occurs when the ball ends up in a Sand Bunker. It can be either a Fried Egg lie or a Buried lie. A Fried egg lie is termed as such because of the way the ball is buried which is like an egg yolk. Slightly rotate the club to make the clubface to point more at the ball instead of the sky, and hit the sand and the ball simultaneously. A buried lie is hard to handle as a large part of the golf ball is buried. To solve a buried lie, you should use a similar technique in a fried egg lie, but you need to hit harder and use a pitching wedge.

Water Hazards: This can be a golfer's nightmare. It can either be a swamp, pond, or lake within or along the course. This is an ugly situation to be in since you will earn a penalty stroke when the ball will land on this type of hazard. If you're near or must get through a water hazard, you need to make sure to hit your ball a bit far, at least 15-20 yards away from the water. You ought to deliver a full and aggressive swing.

Blindshot/Blindspot: This may either be a tree, stone, or any other obstacles that can obstruct the view of a golfer to the hole or green. Plan a path where you'd want your ball to go - top of the tree hiding your view, or top of a rock. Before you'll plan your path, you can walk or drive by first until you see a view of the green. If your ball will land in the trees, you have to make sure that your ball will not fly as it can collide with the branches of the trees resulting in more harm to your shot. Aim to roll the golf ball than just getting the ball to fly at the usual height as you normally do.

Swamps/Weeds: You must treat them much like your normal water hazards and focus in making your shot a bit too far from the hazard to prevent it from landing there. A Mid-Iron Club provides you with extra loft and helps to steer you from the hazard.

Getting into these hazards are normal. After a lot of practice, this won't absolutely make you safe from these, but learning concerning how to cope with them will be better for your game. Being adaptive is an advanatage to playing golf.
