They’ve now seen that far from being harmful, the power of the web can actually help reinvigorate flagging industries. Just like a friend who lent you the book that let you discover your favorite author, having digital media on the web functions in the same way. Whether it is downloadable music or online free movies, the internet lets your work reach a wider audience that may have never been exposed to your stuff in the first place.
