The Dell Streak is operating on the Android operating system and uses a HTML browser. It is however using no radio while at the same time having no downloadable games. However it has GPS support and also hosts Java software along with a digital compass and social networking integration. There is also scope for various other software such as Google Search, Maps and Gmail apart from You Tube and Google Talk together with a photo viewer and Organizer as well as a voice memo and dial. There is also a standard battery of 1530mAh together with standby of 400 hours and talk time of 9 hours 48 minutes. There is little doubt that the HP Veer and Dell Streak are offering superior alternatives to mobile users in terms of superior technology available at an affordable price. These mobiles are having numerous interesting features that make them highly appealing cutting across age groups.
