Chlorothalonil 720, also known as daconil ws, is used in forming economical, broad spectrum as well as cost effective disease control fungicides used to treat the grasses growing in cold as well as warm seasons, shrubs, flowers and trees. The Chlorothalonil 720 helps in providing an excellent and efficient tank mix partner which can be easily mixed with many types of other fungicides. This type of fungicide is recommended to be used in treating many types of labeled ornamental crops and grasses grown in all seasons including shrubs. This is a multi site action product which means it can be used repeatedly and there is no disease resistance with many uses. The recommended quantity of Chlorothalonil 720 which can be applied on the plants which are grown in the greenhouses & nurseries is 1.37 pints mixed with hundred gallons of water and this mixture needs to be applied using foliar sprays. The product comes in the form of liquid Chlorothalonil which is so light that it can flow easily and available in the market in the quantity of 2.5 gallons. This product can only be used as per the using guidelines otherwise it can contaminate the underground water as well as surface water. Use of this product is not allowed within 150 feet in aerial & air blast applications and within 25 feet in ground applications from the marine water bodies as it can harm the marine life due to the chemical content present in it.
