Seattle is a beautiful metropolitan city in the state of Washington, USA. This is one of the most important seaports of today which is not only an important place for transactions with Asia and other Middle Eastern countries but harbors Seattle International Airport which is an important place for the businessmen all over the world. With the passage of time it has become one of the most populous states inhabiting over 3 million people. Seattle rocks all over the world for its rock music. It is the birth place of the famous rock star Jimi Hendrix who holds a legendry position in the field of rock music. Grunge which is a local rock music style flourished here. After grunge many different styles of music came and entertained the world. Other forms of performing arts were also nurtured in this city. At Present Seattle is a seat for hip hop music. Seattle not only rocks in the field of rock music but also in a number of other things. It is ranked as one of the most educated and economically prosperous cities in America. It has a huge number of educated people with a large industry and thus good income. It has many famous market places, Pike Place market is one of them. The climate of Seattle is friendly for its inhabitants which stays cool throughout the year and thus invites more and more tourists. There are a number of parks that offer a healthy outing to both the visitor and the local families alike. Carkeek Park and Bitter Lake Park are the two most famous recreation spots of the city. With the proper government initiatives Seattle has developed a number of new buildings in a couple of years. The buildings are beautiful, clean and well maintained and form an emolument of the sophistication of the people living in the city. One of the most remarkable and tallest buildings is Space Needle. Another skyscraper called Colombia center is the tallest building in the northern part of the state. Smith Tower is also a well known sky scraper. The number of cars here has grown to such an extent that the city is now considered as the most car-congested cities of the state. A large number of roads have been built in the recent years that support a lot of traffic. This trend is positive as per the economic point of view but since the roads have become so congested the government is now considering reversing the situation and introducing more ways of public transport. Due to this trend now a number of buses and public transport can now also be seen on the roads. Seattle has a well established industry of information technology. A large number of software’s are made in the city every day. This software’s are used all over the world for different applications and generate a lot of revenue for the people in the city. In short Seattle is one the most important and prosperous cities of America and playing an important role in overall uplift of the country.
