After having a mastectomy it can be very difficult to find the right bra. That is why if you follow these simple tips, you will find the bra that will be a perfect fit for you and your body. One of the most important tips to finding a bra is making sure that if fits your body properly and provides you with the comfort that you need. If you love the bras that you currently have and would like to keep them, that is fine. All you have to do is get your bras altered so that they can either have a pocket for a breast form or padding. Most women after surgery like to purchase new bras because the bras that they currently have are worn in and ready to be thrown away. When you are shopping for a bra you want to make sure that you shop for the right bra. If you have a breast form or prosthesis you want to keep that in mind when you are shopping. Or bring your prosthesis along so that you can make sure the bra that you purchase gives you a symmetrical look.
