So where do you find all the answers to interview questions? Is there a website that you can just go and download a bunch of interview questions and guarantee you deliver a great interview? I'm afraid not. There are a bunch of websites that claim to do this but even if you get all the answers, behavioral interview questions it is no guarantee that you will deliver a decent interview. The search for an answer to interview questions is not the way to prepare for your interview. What are interviews all about? This is a great question and I doubt you have ever stopped and asked yourself it. I think this is where it starts to go wrong for people as they simply do not understand what an interview is all about. Contrary to popular belief, it's not about answering questions. It's about much more than that. The short answer is that it's about personality; your personality. Who gets the job offers? Well it's not simply the person who answers all the interview questions correctly. Unfortunately this is how most people approach their interview and it's why you were looking for this article. The person who gets the job offer is the person who gave the best overall performance on the day. And an interview performance has very little to do with the number of questions you answer. When you are so focused on answering all the questions correctly, you forget about your personality. When you don't get your personality into the room and into the interview then your performance really suffers. How do you improve your interview performance? An interviewer wants to know who you are. If they hire you they are going to possibly spend several hours per day working beside you. If they hire you they will have their existing team spend a lot of time with you too. The want to know who the real you is. If this was about simply finding the right answer for interview questions they would have simply asked you to take a test and fill out a form. But they don't. Instead they go to a lot of trouble and take a lot of time to sit with your face to face and the only reason they do this is to get a feel for who you are. You can churn out every stock answer for interview questions you like but it is not going to result in a great interview performance. Instead focus on getting your personality into the room. Be yourself and be human. It's a very artificial environment but that's all the more reason you need to make the effort to get your personality across. So instead of driving yourself crazy trying to memories every answer for interview questions that no one is really interested in, try and remember why they are asking you the questions in the first place. They only ask you questions to get to know you. When you meet someone for the first time, it is normal within a few minutes to ask them what they do for a living.
