Its been a trying time of late for the great Rory Mcllroy after his poor performance at the Masters, and now he finally has something to smile about. He had a great time out on the green at the Malaysia Open and now seems to be back to his best. We are huge fans of this impressive young golfer, and know many others have been impressed by his ability to keep his composure under pressure. If your keen to learn exactly how this young global superstar has made his way to the top and what kit he rates highly in his kit bag then read on to hear all about the stars new found fame and how he has managed to ensure he is always disciplined and on track out on the golf course. But be warned reading this article may well make you the next big thing on the greens! Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy put his Masters disaster behind him to card a three-under 69 in the first round of the Malaysia Open in Kuala Lumpur. The 21-year-old threw away a four-shot lead at the Masters, eventually finishing joint 15th, 10 shots behind winner Charl Schwartzel. Rory McIlroy always states his game is vastly improved when he uses his Skycaddie SGX, he would feel lost without it. His Skycaddie SGX was not with him for his first round in Malaysia but he still pulled off a great opening round. Things aren’t all going well for Rory thought and he had a repet of his recent run of bad luck just as recently as last week when he flew out of the UK. Yes that’s right, Rory McIlroy's run of misfortune continued when he arrived in Kuala Lumpur without his clubs. The 21-year-old, who led the Masters by four shots before a final-day 80, is playing in this week's Malaysian Open. Discovering his loss after a 25-hour flight from Georgia in the company of Masters winner Charl Schwartzel, he said calmly: "It's one of these things. "Going through so many time zones and so many connecting flights your bags are going to get lost sometimes." It seems his was also with his clubs and he is anxious as to whether this will arrive in time for the start of the tournament. It seems all is back on track now though and the star is keen to embrace the world of golf again and get going again.
