Cloud computing is the definition for the specification of computational properties on demand through a network. This refers to applications, database, file service, e-mail etc. Normally, data and software are both contained in the user’s computer, but in cloud computing there is almost none of these. It serves as a visual display unit for the processes which is happening on a network of computer which is working a distance away from it. A common word for the cloud computing is “The Cloud”. Cloud Computing Solutions free users from particular hardware and software installations. It upholds maintenance tasks through use of simple hardware which enters a large network of computing resources. The cost for the user is reduced due to the sharing of resources. The main idea behind cloud computing is that any computer which is connected to the internet is connected to the same pool of computing power, files and applications. With the help of a remote server, a user can store and access personal files like music, games, movies, etc, rather than carrying a storage medium like a DVD player. Most of the users of internet are using some form of cloud computing, though they may not realize it. The ones using web based e mails like Gmail, Hotmail, and Yahoo which are company owned email, or even email client programs such as Outlook, Mozilla, Evolution or Thunderbird connects to a cloud email server. The user is responsible for the computer which is connected to the internet or a local network and access to the central data center. The user will connect to many web servers which have user interface software. This will take the commands from the user and translate them into instruction on the server. The servers take charge of the computing, and then they either store or receive information from the database files and display the page which has been updated, to the user. Through cloud computing managed hosting services data across many servers is aligned around the world for the shared work on one file or project, from the multiple users around the world. Cloud computing gives computation, data access, software and storage services that does not need end-user information about the physical location or configuration of the system which provides the services. Common cloud computing suppliers send common business applications online that are accessed from another Web service, while the data and software are stored on servers.
