It can come and go in the 1st trimester or it can last throughout the whole pregnancy, depending on different individuals. Complications Most pregnancy complications occur during the 1st trimester, as with miscarriages which are nature's way of ending an unviable pregnancy. But miscarriages should not discourage you from trying for another child, as many women have attested to successful and normal pregnancies after a miscarriage. Once the pregnancy is in the 2nd trimester, it is considered a stable pregnancy, and this is normally the time to announce the delightful news of a baby on the way.
