The other thing is that the ERP implementation is a slow process and it may take up to three years for completion. It could be even slower if employees are not well prepared for it. They might even try to sabotage it, simply because most people hate change. It’s good for employees to participate actively in the process because their return is really important. They are the most active users of the system and they must be adapted really well. Third, when your company has a working solution LES lot of money and effort should be invested. Therefore the choice of the most appropriate supplier and the product is really important. Management should take their time and analyze each shortlisted supplier very well. Switched to another ERP software can be very painful.
