Watching 2D movies are now out of fashion. People are fascinated and so excited to move towards the shows that provide images that look so real. This is because of the invention of 3D concept. We are really blessed to watch such things in life. Watching three dimensional pictures are like feast for our eyes. The images look closer as if they are present in front of us. The illusion depths of images are increased to provide a real effect. The pictures will be so stunning to watch. But we require an important accessory to enjoy this thrill. And it is nothing but 3D glasses. The concept behind the design of 3D glasses is stereoscopic vision. Left eye and right eye view two separate images and they are combined to produce a 3D effect. It is all about the depth between the two images. All the 3D movies and televisions which make use of 3D technology works on this concept. The latest technology Televisions are manufactured in such a way that they are able to pr sent 3D videos. These televisions present two separate images to both of our eyes and 3D glasses and our brain will take care of combining them into a single 3D image that is so real. And another important technical fact about this 3D is that the separate images are not provided at the same time. First one eye will get an image and then another and it goes on. One eye will miss an image when the other eye is visualizing a picture but this is too fast to be noticed. The image blocking of one eye is taken care by the 3D glasses. This variation is exactly the same as how we see objects in reality. In 3D movies we will be provided with red cyan 3D glasses. The idea behind it is while there is image projecting from red colored projector, the cyan lens in 3D glass will block the image to the corresponding eye and it is vice- versa. This ensures that only one image is seen at a time. This red and cyan glass is the common 3D glass used. There is another type of 3D glasses known as Polarized glasses. In this type of glass, one lens will has vertical split and other lens has horizontal split. Special care should be taken while wearing 3D glasses. Perfectly fitting 3D glasses must be worn otherwise the images will appear altered and disturbed and you may also feel dizzy.
