There are many acne home remedies that you can use and that have worked for many others that used to suffer from this problem. Boiled milk and fresh lime juice can be used to wash your face. Lime is a natural cleanser used in many soaps and milk will help to add many nutrients to your skin and help to prevent the skin from drying out excessively. To prepare an infusion, add two teaspoons of dried basil leaves to one cup of boiling water. Let the leaves steep for 10-20 minutes. Drink the infusion three times a day. Wash your face at least twice a day (first time in morning and second before moving to bed). Wash more often in summers to prevent oils from getting accumulated and keep face clean. Remember to splash warm water before applying soap as that opens the pores in skin allowing deep penetration of skin by soap. People with oily skin must use water-based soap. Don't use body soaps on face as that may clog pores causing acne pimples. Soap must be rinsed off using cold water so that pores are closed. Take fenugreek leaves and make a fine paste out of it and then apply it to your entire face. This will help with healing some of your existing acne scars and will also help with stopping new acne and blackheads. Take some fresh garlic and rub it around the affected areas. This helps to get rid or your current acne but you need to be consistent and do it regularly for at least a few weeks. For treatment, simply drop some tea tree oil in the problem area after cleansing your face. Or you can prepare a solution with five percent tea tree oil and apply. The second is applicable particularly for those with sensitive skin, as essential oils are quite potent. Tone - People generally do not give toning any importance and it is often left out. Do tone your skin after cleansing as it clears face of any leftover cleanser. If residue is left on face, that clogs the pores resulting in acne.
