MLB player Davis who was born on October 19, 1980 is a center fielder for the Toronto Blue Jays currently. He was a switch-hitter, but became a full-time right-handed hitter prior to the 2004 season and also throws right-handed. Davis was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 38th round ( 1.134th overall ) of the 2001 Major League Baseball Draft as a second baseman. Rajai Davis was a former member for the team of Pittsburgh Pirates, San Francisco Giants and Oakland Athletics. On 10th, April, 2011 Sunday afternoon, Rajai Davis had to exit the match in the fifth inning because of the aggravated injured of his right ankle. Davis was heart initially during the run down between the first and second innings. Then he missed two games, and came back to the team on 5th, April. Since that time, Davis made six starts in center, but he felt grievous pain with his foot that day. So this 30 years old player missed the conventional fly ball in the end of forth inning and eventually lost two poins. Travis Snider took the place of Davis in the later games. This was his first time in Snider’s Major League Baseball career that he played a position other than the corner outfield spots. Davis was hitting .167 with one stolen base and four runs scored in six games this season.
