Perhaps the biggest thing that sets coed boarding schools apart from their all boy or all girl counterparts is the fact that students get the benefit of socializing with both genders. In today's society men and women are everywhere you go doing everything together and equally. In order to properly prepare students for our all inclusive society it just makes more sense that they be exposed to the opposite sex. When the time comes that these students are ready to build families of their own they will be better equipped to do so in a harmonious manner. Boys and girls aren't always so interested in starting a monogamous relationship, but they should definitely learn to become associates and work together respectfully.
