Computers are considered as the most significant among all the recent breakthroughs that humans came up with. Virtually every aspect of people’s day-to-day existence has been influenced by computers. From the way people communicate and socialize with each other, to the way businesses interact with consumers and vice versa, computers have played a role in them in one way or another. Perhaps the biggest benefit that computers brought since their inception is their ability to make a lot of things more manageable. Gone were the days when businesses and organizations had to depend on manual processes and maintain a room’s worth of files containing names of employees, suppliers and customers. Instead, they use software and other computer-based systems to perform all of those processes and manage important pieces of information. For some entities, however, investment on computer-based systems is no walk in the park. Doing so involves quite a substantial amount of money, but this is something that businesses and organizations do not mind at all. What is important to them is that things will become faster and more efficient with the adoption of computer-based systems. The adoption of things such as ERP software solutions has helped businesses and organizations a lot. Through computer-based systems, they are able to manage their resources properly. At the same time, they are able to address the concerns of various stakeholders with the adoption of computerization. Computer-based systems such as ERP software solutions have brought a positive impact among various individuals who are part of certain businesses and organizations. For example, organization members now have better access to much needed pieces of information because of computerization, especially the adoption of Internet technology. Another example is the fact that processes such as salary disbursement, accounting, and data management and storage have become easier to perform through the utilization of software and other computer-based systems. ERP software solutions and other computer-based systems have helped improve life for everyone. The importance of computers, especially the crucial roles that they play in everyday lives of people, is now something that is clearly recognized. It is, definitely, hard to imagine life without computers
