So many people in the working class of America have a very difficult time understand how they are going to be able to get exercise in while working a full work week. Be sure to take the time to figure out how you are going to do this. It’s not good for your body to be in the same spot for around 8 hours. You need to make sure that you find the time while in the office to move your body around in different manners so you can strengthen your muscles. While you are exercising in your desk you want to start by contracting your abdominal muscles. You should be sure that you understand that you will need to contract then and hold them for a good ten seconds. When you are contracting them try to bring your belly button back into your spine. As you bring your belly button back you will also want to make sure that you feel the tightening of the muscles throughout your sides as well. Strengthening all of the abdominal muscles will be important. After you have done this a few times throughout the workout you want to make sure that you take the time that you need to learn how you are going to strengthen your legs. The process should be slow and controlled when you return back to standing position. Take a few minutes every hour to stand and do squats while you are on the phone or even when you are responding to e-mails. Be sure that you know how you are going to strengthen many of the muscles throughout your legs. Start by putting a rubber ball between your knees, this can be a tennis ball or even a racquet ball. After you put the ball between your knees you want to make sure that you understand that you will need to keep it there and then squeeze it. Make sure that you squeeze your knees together and hold it for at least ten seconds. While you are taking part in this exercise you will want to make sure that you hold the squeeze for about ten seconds. Continue to repeat this exercise many times throughout the day so that your leg muscles are being worked. If you think you need more exercise in your week make sure you take the time to at least walk on a treadmill or go to your local fitness center and try using an elliptical. Be smart about the way that you are exercising when you are at work. You do not have to take too much time to do the squats and you do not want to be taking away from your work when you are trying to keep your body healthy. Make sure that you take the time that you need to develop a plan for your work day. This way, when you are at work you will know how you can balance the time that you spend sitting in your desk and the time that you spend getting up and moving your body to strengthen muscles.
