For travelling to SeaTac, it is a good idea that a person does have some advanced planning. The traveler should confirm his or her travel details. One should also make sure that his or her name on the ID card matches the name on the boarding pass, as this is new requirement of travelling to SeaTac by air. In addition, the passenger should also know about the baggage policies of the airline. One should know how many bags are allowed, what are the fees and what are the limitations regarding the size and weight of the luggage. One should pack the luggage while keeping the security in mind, while travelling to the SeaTac city. The medicines, travel documents and other essential things should stay with the person in the carry on luggage. One should also know what is allowed and not allowed, in the carry-on luggage and the checked luggage. One should remember to keep the checked luggage unlocked, as the luggage may be opened for security purposes. There are certain things a passenger can do before heading to the airport (for going to the SeaTac city) which can make the travel hassle free. The traveler should prefer to use the web check in, which is nowadays offered by many airlines. The boarding pass can now be printed at home. One can skip the ticket counter by printing this boarding pass from home, in case there is no luggage. One can go directly to the security checkpoint and the assigned gate. In addition, it is better that a traveler reaches airport two hours before the time of flight, this is because of the heightened security checks, which require more time, specially if a person is an international traveler. In addition there are certain ways one can avoid the ticket counter lines (at the airport to travel to SeaTac city) that are faced while checking in. The passenger can make use of the Alaska Airline check in facility. Alaska Airlines has customer friendly check in kiosks and bag check stations. The customers of Alaska Airlines are able to print their boarding passes at these kiosks. Passengers that only have the carry on baggage can then directly go to the security check point. Passengers who have luggage to check go to the bag check points, where the customer service employees check the boarding passes and put bag tags on their luggage. The passengers who opt to travel from the five airlines, Alaska, Continental, Horizon, Delta and United can print their boarding cards as soon as they enter the SeaTac airport. The quick check in kiosks present at the SeaTac airport; enable passengers to print their boarding passes and head right to the security check points and departure gate, if they don’t have any luggage. The travelers of Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air, who have luggage can print their boarding pass, and then can go to their airline’s bag drop area. These quick check-in kiosks are situated on the fourth floor of the garage, at the entrances to sky bridges 2-6. Visit SeaTac Airport transportation, Tacoma limo services
