The Caribbean can be defined as simply heaven on earth. The breathtaking scenery is rejuvenating to the mind, body, and soul. The tropical islands are gifted with magnificent scenery and adorned with white sandy beaches ideal for tourism. Business opportunities in the tourism sector is very promising in the entire region. Mostly, international trade agenda in relation to the Caribbean states is discussed. In Most cases, the government is responsible for sending delegation and representatives to attend these functions. Workshops, forums and seminars present an opportunity to facilitate issues of international trade. These activities in turn facilitate multidirectional trade and investment. These forums have lead to diversification on trade and business. As a business man, attendance to these forums is a big opportunity to get useful tips on investment opportunities. Banking, insurance among other business opportunities has been coming up lately. Though the process is relatively slope, it has been very steady. Anguilla is host to prominent insurance and financial institutions headquarters. Mining and manufacturing industry also offer promising business opportunities. Some countries produce bauxite that is used in manufacture of aluminum. Investment opportunities in most stock market in this region is very vibrant. In fact, some countries have their stock market augmented in the international securities market. Business in farming products like sugar cane and other agricultural products has been picking up. Though most countries in West Indies have poor agricultural land, some show promising economic growth in this sector. Tourist hotel facilities are a major foreign earner to countries in this region. Villas have been build in these countries to host tourist both foreign and locals. REAL ESTATE BAHAMAS has seen the creation of jobs opportunities and an improvement in living standards.
