There's nothing that could make me more happy than I was when I first got our new dog. She was a Chihuahua called Chianti, the exact same name as the wine that I like. She was a rescue dog that hadn't really had the best of life before we got her. She had never received any positive attention and was neglected by the people who had her before us. I could already see a wear spot on my puppy's throat area from where her previous owners had kept her on a collar. How my heart was shattered from such inhumane treatment my little princess received. I selected a harness from the top supplier and it's a cute plaid one that will look so adorable on her. Although I totally support making sure this dog gets the care she requires, I had to stop myself when it came to dressing her up. Shh, don't tell anyone that I did get her the cutest warm sweater. Chihuahuas don't exactly appreciate cold weather and what with our winters getting kind of brisk, I thought it was a good investment. In short order, my purchases started arriving. Within the week, I was already receiving packages from the different merchants that I had ordered through. The time I spent bonding with my puppy was really special for both of us. To get everything we needed didn't require a long car ride which was nice as well. With all the stress of her former life, I didn't think she needed that too.
